This look is a bit more of a statement than I normally make, but I love how all of it works together. I look like someone who's going to perform at Woodstock! If that isn't #goals, I don't know man. Oh, and this is the debut of my new fiddler cap. I regularly develop obsessions with certain items that I feel would work awesome with my style, and then I spend days/weeks looking for the PERFECT version of whatever item I'm fixated on. These past weeks, it was this cap. It's such a perfect way to add a playful 60s vibe to any type of outfit. I was drooling over the cap from the Gigi x Tommy collection, but dropping €50 for a hat just didn't feel right. I ended up finding this grey one at Esprit, a store I don't usually visit, but I'm super glad I found it because it fits my tiny head perfectly!

Pretty sure you'll get sick of me wearing it all the time, but that's just who I am. Pleasantly obsessive. Although my dude might disagree about the "pleasant" part :'D

Have a lovely weekend!

Beauty: Only You Love palette review
makeup bag - Ici Paris XL

Only You (available at Ici Paris XL) is a colourful, budget makeup brand with a cute vibe. Case in point: their ice cream themed, scented nailpolish collection for spring 2017, and this adorable makeup palette they designed for Valentine's day. At 9.95€ for 12 eyeshadows, 2 highlighters and 4 blushes, the Love palette is steal. But is it worth the money? Let's take a look.

So this is what a really good hairday looks like now that I have bangs. I actually didn't style or curl my hair, I just put it up in a bun after washing, and this is the natural beachy wave I got as a result! Love it. I picked up the trick when researching my new haircut, reading about Jeanne Damas' morning routine because that woman has the best hair ever. So thank you, Ms. Damas! Easiest route to good hair ever. Also, the perfect proof that bangs don't have to be high maintenance.

The outfit is a mix of slightly unexpected components, and all of it together reads sort of punk to me. Blondie could have totally worn this. These studded croc boots and the patent skirt are perfect building blocks in my wardrobe: black, so it goes with everything, but with enough interesting detail to give any outfit a bit of an edge.

Btw there was some weird guy waving at us from the window near my feet while we were taking these pictures. Totally sounds like the plot of some weird ass horror movie about abused inbred children secretly living in the basement without the new inhabitants knowing. Yes, I just basically described the plot to The People under the Stairs aka one of my fav wtf movies.

Peace out!

Skincare: Clinique Take of the Day oil cleanser review

Skincare: Clinique Take of the Day oil cleanser review

Today we're talking cleansing! Honestly, when you're into wearing makeup like I am, nothing is more important than removing all of it before bed. When I switched from sheer coverage foundations to medium-full coverage ones (Revlon Colorstay, at the time), I immediately noticed that my regular cleansing milk just didn't cut it anymore - my skin started to break out because it wasn't thoroughly clean at the end of the day. I started looking for a product that would take all of my longwearing makeup off without having to combine 20 steps or without having to rub my face (sensitive skin right here), and oil cleansers solved all of my problems. I usually use two: a liquid one for my eye makeup, and a thicker, balm type product for my face. Let me introduce you to my current favourites: the Take the Day off cleansing duo by Clinique!
